Playground Elite

Playground Elite was established to provide talented young athletes with quality instruction, fundamental teaching, competition, exposure, great teammates, and a unique "family" atmosphere outside of their school basketball programs. The Playground Elite basketball program is the only “NIKE” Sponsored Grassroots program in Wisconsin.

The Playground Elite program begins in the spring season with 7 strong, competitive boy teams and provides each team with local and national tournament exposure. These basketball tournaments are opportunities for some of the most talented student-athletes of Wisconsin to compete against the very best competition in the country.

The program is made up of boys from throughout the state of Wisconsin. The Playground Elite program will field 7 boys' basketball teams (grades 4th – 11th). We will also add 8 girls’ basketball teams (grades 5th – 11th) to our portfolio for the 2009 AAU basketball season.

The program will continue to field talented boys and girls teams each year. Team members will consist of elementary, middle, and high school students, ranging from ages 9 through 18.

Each age group will participate in a various tournaments in the spring and summer months. Teams may consist of 10-12 players per team and all teams are coached by NCAA certified coaches. In the past, the teams have traveled to tournaments in Arizona, Missouri, Minnesota, North Carolina, Georgia, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, and Nevada, as well as many local tournaments throughout Wisconsin.

Playground Elite is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization monetary donations to the program are used to help defray traveling expenses for athletes and to help pay for tournament entry fees.
